I’ve been contracting since 2022, mostly with large organisations across financial services and pharma. The work is strategic product management: AI and API products, transformation programmes, and everything that goes with shipping, especially in a regulated industry. I also work with startups and scaleups on early-stage product strategy and establishing product-market fit.
I work on the basis that needs may evolve as the work progresses. Most of what I take on involves some combination of ambiguity, competing priorities, and functions that need to align before anything moves. I’m comfortable in that environment, and I’m used to adapting the scope of my work as the engagement develops.
